Waxman Strategies is thrilled to announce that Jacqueline Cohen has joined our Environment Practice as Vice President. In our Environment Practice, Jacqueline will work on issues including climate change, toxics, environmental justice, waste, and safe drinking water.

Jacqueline joins us from the House Energy and Commerce Committee where she worked for 12 years. She most recently served as Chief Environmental Counsel. Prior to that, Jacqueline served as Senior Counsel for the Committee under Chairman and Ranking Member Henry Waxman. Her resume also includes working in the Senate on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and for both the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Environmental Defense Fund and she also has experience working in private practice for a top national law firm, Sidley Austin.

She has spent her entire career working in the environment space and is a dedicated advocate for environmental justice. Managing Director of our Environment Practice, Michael Goo, said of Jacqueline, “Jackie brings expertise on climate policy, green tech, and decarbonization which are major areas of focus for the practice. She will be a tremendous asset to our clients in achieving their policy and advocacy goals and moving the needle on climate change”.  Waxman Strategies is looking forward to working closely with Jacqueline in our efforts to build a more sustainable future for all.
