Carina is an Associate in the Technology Practice, helping clients achieve impact with market research, strategic planning, and business development support. She enjoys leveraging her background in data analytics to design and execute market landscape analyses to glean meaningful insights and drive overall strategy.
Prior to joining Waxman Strategies, Carina worked on Rep. Kendra Horn (D-OK)’s campaign in 2020. As the political technology specialist, she helped develop the campaign website, managed and created content for all social media channels and digital organizing initiatives, and led a novel cybersecurity program. Through this experience she saw first-hand the important role of technology in driving social change.
Previously, Carina held a market research role at ZipRecruiter, where she worked with the Vice President of Business Development to identify new clients and segments, analyze the viability of prospective partnerships, and inform the team’s growth strategy.
Carina graduated from Wesleyan University in 2020 earning a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Society with minors in Data Analysis and Religion, respectively. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar and singing, beating her friends in basketball scrimmages (3-pointers are her specialty), reading sci-fi books, and watching TV comedies (her all-time favorite is Veep).Our Team
