Waxman Strategies hires two new communications pros bolstering its media and marketing efforts

Waxman Strategies is excited to bring on two new staff members who bring exceptional communications skills to the company.  

Gina Drioane joins the firm as Senior Director of Health Communications. She joins the tech team practice to support our clients in advancing health equity through communications and media work. Gina holds a Master of Public Health from University of California, Berkeley and has experience working on large scale communications projects. Prior to joining Waxman, Gina was the Associate Director of Federal Policy and Advocacy Media at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Gina has worked on critical health justice issues including reopening the Title X program to all qualified health care providers, pushing to end the global gag rule, and amplifying the impact of Supreme Court decisions on sexual and reproductive rights.  

Also joining the firm is Catherine Gorman who will be leading the firm’s marketing efforts as Senior Associate, Marketing. This new position is working within the operations team to support the firm in its business development and marketing goals. Catherine will be working with each of Waxman’s practices to develop strategic marketing plans in support of each practice’s goals. Prior to joining Waxman, Catherine was a Project Manager at ignite Agency and Associate Vice President of Client Relations at DDC Public Affairs. With a background in the agency world, she brings key industry insights to the firm with an eye for strategy.
