During the four decades I spent in Congress, I championed the policy issues that continue to define the next generation of global progress – ensuring health equity, securing a sustainable future, and fostering bold innovation. Now, as Chairman of Waxman Strategies, I’m proud to lead a team that’s continuing this work.
As a nation, we have seen tremendous progress in these areas, but much is at stake, especially in the upcoming 2018 mid-term elections. At Waxman Strategies, we are following these elections closely because the outcomes of these elections will likely impact policies surrounding technology, environment, and health.
Today, we’re excited to launch the Waxman Strategies Elections Hub, where we are sharing insights into the potential policy scenarios that could play out in November and beyond.
Given the importance of the elections on key issues within each of these segments, we are preparing for all potential scenarios and want to share some of our insights with colleagues and business partners. To that end, please find our elections memo laying out some of the bellwether races we are following and how three different outcomes could set the policy agenda for the 116th Congress on a range of issues we care about.
Beyond this, we will also be hosting post-election webinars – live conversations about election results and expected impact on technology, environment, and health. To sign up to view the webinars, and for additional information including our continuing coverage of the mid-term elections, please visit www.waxmanstrategies.com/elections.
At Waxman Strategies, we strive to continue our work helping clients create sustainable public interest change. If there is anything we can do to help you achieve your goals, please do not hesitate to reach out.
