Marisa Bellantonio has a diverse communications background, with experience in public relations, marketing, editorial-writing and film production.
Prior to Waxman Strategies, she worked on the Public Relations and Marketing team at CipherHealth, a technology company creating digital solutions to help healthcare organizations meet incentives set by the Affordable Care Act. Marisa played a leading role in shaping the firm’s public relations strategy and executed various campaigns delivering high-quality placements in healthcare and technology outlets.
Driven by globally-minded social justice initiatives, Marisa has had the opportunity to participate in several social impact projects. She produced a student documentary film about the healthcare infrastructure in Sierra Leone, which was screened at the Jacques Salmonowitz premiere at Boston College. Marisa also spent time in Chiapas, Mexico and in the Appalachian region of Virginia working with local teams on community development projects.
Marisa graduated with honors from Boston College with a degree in communications and international studies.
