Lindsey Arent Schank is a communications consultant and former journalist who has spent 14 years crafting compelling narratives for print, digital and broadcast media audiences. She is a vice president at Waxman Strategies.
As a media strategist, Lindsey has successfully elevated clients’ visibility through strategic press outreach, including interviews, articles, quotes and op-ed placement in national print and broadcast outlets. Lindsey’s clients appear frequently in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, TechCrunch, Politico, Fortune, Forbes, the Business Journals, CNBC, MSNBC, Bloomberg Television and Fox Business News, among others. Lindsey is also experienced at preparing clients for media appearances.
As a former correspondent and broadcast producer for Bloomberg Television, Lindsey covered the White House and Congress and interviewed multiple lawmakers, cabinet secretaries and CEOs about key financial and political issues, including the financial crisis, regulatory reform and health care. Lindsey also regularly wrote and produced broadcast segments on sectors such as technology, aerospace and biotech.
Prior to that, Lindsey worked as a reporter covering technology, national news, business and politics for Wired News, Yahoo! and Tech TV. Lindsey began her journalism career on the Metro Desk of the Los Angeles Times. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Brown University.
